Cancellation Policy

PICKLEBALL WAIVER & RELEASE OF LIABILITY PLEASE READ CAREFULLY BEFORE REGISTERING FOR ANY EVENT, CLINIC, CLASS, OR LEAGUE By registering for and/or participating in any event, clinic, class, league, or activity organized by Long Island Pickleball Pros, I hereby acknowledge and agree to the following: Release of Liability I, the participant, or the legal guardian of a participant under 18, hereby release, waive, discharge, and hold harmless the Event Director(s), Long Island Pickleball Pros, their officers, employees, volunteers, agents, and facility providers from any and all liability for injuries, losses, damages, or claims resulting from participation in any Pickleball-related activity. This includes, but is not limited to, personal injuries, death, accidents, illnesses (including communicable diseases such as COVID-19), and property loss. Assumption of Risk I understand that participating in Pickleball activities involves inherent risks, including but not limited to: • Minor injuries such as bruises, sprains, and dehydration • Major injuries such as eye injuries, joint or back injuries, heat stroke, heart attacks, and concussions • Catastrophic injuries including paralysis and death I voluntarily assume all such risks, known and unknown, associated with my participation. I certify that I am in good health and physically capable of participating in Pickleball events. Indemnification & Hold Harmless I agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Event Director(s), Long Island Pickleball Pros, and any affiliated parties from any and all claims, actions, suits, costs, expenses, damages, and liabilities (including attorney’s fees) arising from or related to my participation in the event. Media Release I grant permission to Long Island Pickleball Pros and its agents or designees to use my image, name, voice, and words in any photographs, videos, or other media taken during the event for promotional, marketing, educational, informational, and archival purposes, without limitation or obligation.________________________________________ ☐X By Registering for this league or activity I have read and agree to the terms of this Waiver & Release of Liability.
